The Label Printing Company Pretoria

We understand that it’s often a difficult and time-consuming task searching for the right label company. That’s why we’ve put together a few key points about what we do, to help you quickly decide whether we’re the right fit for you.

#1 Self-Adhesive Labels on Rolls

Here at Printing Jet, the UK’s Online B2B label manufacturer, we specialise in producing self-adhesive labels on rolls. Absolutely ideal for automatic product labelling, for example, labels for bottles and cans, they equally allow for very easy hand application. Roll label production is very efficient and helps us to pass on time and material savings, keeping costs as low as possible.

#2 Digital Label Printing

This label company prints product labels digitally using HP Indigo machines, and we’re proud of the excellent print quality that we can achieve, as well as of our stringent colour standards. Digital label printing also means that if you’re looking for a label company who can produce labels for multiple SKUs, then we’re the company for you. All of that is possible on a very wide range of materials and finishes, meaning that we can cater to a huge range of label designs for your company and achieve the maximum potential of your label designs.

#3 Premium Label Finishing

We’re one of the few label companies that can offer hot-foiled labels as part of in-house production, meaning that we can get premium, stand-out labels to you in a speedy turnaround. Whether gold, silver, or another shade (please do let us know if you’re looking a particular colour), hot-foils can provide a very premium look, such as the finish achieved on upmarket wine labels.

If your product labels need to be extra resilient, then we could well be the best label company to suit your needs. That’s because, along with the standard gloss and matt UV protective varnishes, we can also laminate your labels. The lamination finish is also available in gloss or matt, and simultaneously provides a stronger effect over a varnish, as well as a strong protective layer to stand up to wear and tear. Tough stuff!
Whether via exposure to liquids or logistic processes, modern business and retail environments constantly challenge your brand’s custom printed packaging labels. It is therefore even more important that your chosen printed label supplier understands the challenges involved when producing professional bottle labeling solutions.

As the UK’s Online Roll Label Manufacturer, we custom print bottle labels for businesses & brand owners of all shapes and sizes; from new, younger businesses requiring multi-versioned runs of product labels to larger multi-nationals looking to test and bring new products to market.
We provide printed labels on rolls to businesses across a multitude of industries; from food and beverage to chemical and nutraceutical. Our labels both shelf and industry-ready; logistics and refrigeration processes are not a problem.

B2B, Custom Printed Labels on Rolls

As a B2B label printing company, we manufacture self-adhesive labels on rolls. The main reason we have chosen to focus our business on roll labels is due to the fact that roll label production allows for full customization; in terms of aesthetics and function of the label.
For example, packaging labels are often required to be different shapes and sizes to fit relevant pack formats; taking beer labels as an example, there is a size difference between 330ml and 500ml bottles. On top of this, there are the brand owners who wish to differentiate their products by using custom-shaped labels and premium finishes such as hot foil stamping. Such flexibility is mostly not achievable when producing custom labels on sheets.

Can I get a press proof/exact sample of my label?

Want to know exactly what your labels will look like when they come out of production? We would be happy to produce a color proof for you for a small fee. We can then also use this for color matching during production. If you would like a press proof, we would be happy to discuss and arrange this with you individually.

Can the colours vary in my labels between different production runs?

Standardised procedures (such as colour matching with previous runs), the most up-to-date measurement techniques, and stringent quality control guarantee that the quality remains the same within each run. Our colour management system allows us to meet Process Standard Offset requirements. We also work to minimise colour variation by constantly training to our staff and using the latest technology. If, despite this, you are not 100% happy with your labels, please write to us using the Contact Form or call our customer service team, who will be happy to help you.

Why does the colour of the labels not look like it does on the computer screen?

A common problem here is that screens do not provide a true representation of colours. Screens work using the »RGB« colour space and sometimes produce colours that are slightly different from how they appear when printed. We use the four process colours of CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) for printing. Conversion between colour spaces can result in isolated variations in colour. These can be countered by using professionally-produced print data created in CMYK and a colour proof that we provide.

How long does it take to produce my labels?

Our standard turnaround time is 5-8 working days from the moment your artwork is in our system. Once your print data is uploaded, we can provide you with a more precise delivery date. Delivery times can vary according to the label type, any special finishes and current production volumes. The estimated delivery date is always given both in the Online Calculator and in your personalised quotation. We aim to be as flexible as possible and will always try our best to meet your requirements.

I’m not happy with the quality of my labels. What should I do?

If, despite our high-quality standards, you identify a production defect, get in touch with us so that we can deal with your concern. Write to us using the Contact Form or call customer service. We’re always happy to help.

Which types of files can be used to print my labels?

We only use graphic formats, so, unfortunately, we can’t accept Microsoft Word files (.docx), for example. Suitable data formats are PDF
